Naturopathy Diet for Heart Disease!!!

6 AM:wake up and after completing your routines,practice pranayam for 5-10 minutes and 10-12 Suryanamaskar.

7 AM:Drink a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon Wheatgrass powder added to it.

7:30 AM:Eat one small bowl of dry fruits along with cow’s milk with 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric and one teaspoon of powdered dry ginger and fenugreek seeds added in equal proportion added to it.

8:30 AM:Drink a glass of carrot juice along with 1/2 teaspoon sprouted fenugreek seeds.

12 NOON:LUNCH-Have a bowl of vegetable soup with ginger,garlic and a teaspoon of flaxseed,Green salad,a bowl of cooked browwn rice along with cummin seeds and curry leaves,2 chappaties/rotis made from wheat along with a bowl of steamed vegetables and cooked Dal.

1 PM:Drink a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon Wheatgrass powder added to it.

2:30 PM:Drink a bowl of potato skin soup.

4 PM:Drink 1 glass of grape fruit juice.
 

6 PM:Drink a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon Wheatgrass powder added to it.Then go for 1 hour of evening walk.

7:30 PM:DINNER-1/2 bowl of sprouted sprouted green grams with a teaspoon of flaxseeds,1 cup of Amla(indian gooseberry) juice,3 chappaties/rotis of wheat  along with a bowl of cooked green vegetables and cooked dal garnised with coriander leaves.
CAUTION:This diet is not meant to replace the medications one is taking for heart diseases.

        If you want to lose weight by natural method,try this Naturopathy diet for three months:
6 AM:wake up and after completing your routines,practice pranayam for 5-10 minutes and 10-12 Suryanamaskar.

6:30 AM:Drink a glass of lime water.

7 AM:Drink a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon Wheatgrass powder added to it.

7:30 AM:Drink a cup of Tulsi(Basil) tea.

8:30 AM:Drink a glass of carrot juice.

12 NOON:LUNCH-Have a bowl of tomato soup with ginger,garlic and a teaspoon of flaxseed,Green salad sprinkled with cinnamon powder,3 chappaties/rotis made from wheat along with a bowl of steamed vegetables and cooked Dal.

1 PM:Drink a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon Wheatgrass powder added to it.

2:30 PM:Drink a glass of lime water

4 PM:Drink 1 glass of Karela(bitter gourd) juice.

6 PM:Drink a glass of warm water with 1 teaspoon Wheatgrass powder added to it.Then go for 1 hour of evening walk or other light aerobic exercises like cycling,etc.

7:30 PM:DINNER-Bowl of vegetable soup,1/2 bowl of sprouted sprouted green grams,1/2 bowl of steamed white kidney beans,3 chappaties/rotis of wheat  along with a bowl of cooked green vegetables and cooked dal.

      Arthritis is a very painful condition in which the cartilage,ligaments and muscles become inflamed,resulting in severe pain in the affected joints.There is no permanent cure for this disease.
       The following Herbs have been used traditionally to treat rheumatoid arthritis: Shallaki also known as boswellia (Boswellia serrata),Ashvagandha (Withania somniferum),Ginger (Zingiber officinale),Guggul(Commiphora Mukul).Other herbs that have proved to be effective are:Erand(Ricinus Comunis),Shunth(Zingiber Officinalis),Turmeric,Devdaru(Cedrus Deodara),Giloy(Tinospora cardifolia),Pepper,Alfalfa.
       Ayurvedic medicines like Mahayograj Guggul,Yograj Guggul also give good results.Application of Ayurvedic oil like Mahanarayan Tail also provides relief.Daily intake of wheatgrass also helps.regular intake of Garlic has also proved to be beneficial.

Herbal Home Remedies For Common Diseases Part V

Here are few more home remedies:

*PRURITIS (ITCHING): Dissolve 1 vitamin C tablet in water and apply it on site of itching. Appling lemon juice, raw onion slice, apple cider vinegar also helps. Add Tulsi (Basil) and Neem leaves to coconut oil and heat it, allow it to cool and apply it on the site. Applying paste of baking soda and water also provides relief.

*PSORIASIS: Add garlic cloves to coconut oil and heat, allow it to cool and apply it on site. Applying the gel from aloe vera leaves also helps.

*MUSCLE ACHE: Add fresh grated ginger or dry ginger powder to water, boil the water till it is reduced to half, let it cool down to lukewarm state, dip a clean cloth in it and place it on the site of pain.

*RINGWORM: Make a paste of Tulsi leaves and salt and apply on the site. Applying powder of mustard seeds and paste of raw papaya also helps.

*SORE THROAT: Add salt and turmeric powder to warm water and gargle. Add 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar to warm water and gargle.

*POOR IMMUNITY: Drink lots of Orange juice (but first get your blood sugar checked), drinking juice of bitter gourd, carrot is also good. Drinking Wheatgrass juice is also very beneficial as it makes your blood slightly alkaline, hence less prone to disease. Eating 3-4 Amla daily is very effective in boosting your immunity. Echinacea has also shown to improve immunity. Daily consumption of curd also helps to boost your immunity since it contains probiotics-good bacteria.

Please note that these remedies are not substitute for conventional medicines.

KEEPING YOUR HEART HEALTHY!

Heart is the most important organ of our body,stopping of which means DEATH. Here are few tips to keep Heart Healthy:

*Avoid smoking,since smoking is highly injurious to Heart.

*Engage in regular exercise to maintain your Cardiovascular fitness.

*Reduce weight since excessive weight can put more load on your Heart.

*Keep your Blood Pressure and Blood sugar under control, since both Hypertension and Diabetes damage your Heart.

*Reduce intake of salt since excessive intake of salts leads to hypertension and also creates deposits along the inner lining of the arteries leading to Coronary Artery Disease.

*Avoid Fatty foods high in Saturated fats since they cause high LDL levels(bad cholesterol). This LDL causes plaque build up in arteries leading to Artherosclerosis and subsequent Heart damage. Foods high in Trans Fat (Hydrogenated vegetable oil) like sweets, biscuits, pastries, etc shud be avoided.

*Alcohol taken in moderate quantities have shown cardioprotective benefits. Wine consumed in moderation has shown to improve HDL levels(good cholesterol). Excessive alcohol consumption leads to Hypertension, Alcoholic Cardiomyopathy, besides so many other health problems.

*Daily consumption of good sources of Minerals like Potassium, Magnesium and calcium like broccoli, dark leafy vegetables, Bananas,Orange juice, Potatoes, whole grains, Almonds, Peanuts, Raisins, Tomatoes, Dairy products is useful since Deficiency of these three minerals has been linked to Hypertension. Magnesium is also required for regulation of Heartbeat and proper functioning of Cardiac muscles. One can also take Multimineral supplements to provide these.

*Taking a daily pill containing Homocystiene lowering vitamins like B vitamins and Folic Acid also helps in preventing heart disease. Antioxidants like Vitamin A,C,E,Selenium, Beta-Carotene and other Carotenoids, Flavanoids also help in preventing early onset of Heart disease.

*Daily consumption of plenty of dietary Fiber is also helpful since it helps in controlling Diabetes and Hypertension. Wheatgrass taken as juice or in powdered form also helps since it also helps in combating Diabetes and Hypertension.
