Dreadful effects of smoking!!!!

Cigarette or tobacco smoking is one of the popular, addictive habits among teenagers and young adults. Since cigarettes contain a high level of nicotine in order to get users addicted, it is no surprise then that millions of people from around the world really find it hard to break the habit. Although the effects of smoking are widely known to smokers and non-smokers alike, people still get hooked from smoking, and because of this, quitting seems to be one of the hardest parts of the habit.

While smoking is known to be a norm which exhibits social acceptance, particularly in teenagers among their peers, the habit does not really give any good benefit to smokers and non-smokers. Aside from getting addicted, you can acquire serious respiratory and heart diseases as well as develop bad breath and yellow teeth from smoking. The smoke that you emit can also affect the health of individuals who are non-smokers, most especially young children.

When you smoke, you are actually inhaling more than 4,800 harmful chemical components, 69 of which are noted to trigger cancer diseases. The dreadful smoking habit is responsible for over 90 percent of lung cancer fatalities and a range of 80 to 90 percent covering other respiratory-related deaths. If you happen to quit the habit, the chance of acquiring or developing chronic lung diseases is still high.

Moreover, smoking does not only affect your respiratory system. According to medical records and studies, you can also experience stroke and other coronary heart illnesses because of smoking too many cigarettes over the years. Note that each year, more people, smokers and non-smokers alike, acquire chronic heart diseases due to cigarette smoking and exposure to second-hand smoke.

In addition, even small children are likewise affected by the grim effects brought by second-hand smoke. Kids who are exposed to the mainstream smoke that is emitted by cigar and tobacco users can also acquire asthma and other allergy conditions like coughing, sneezing, and runny nose. Children can also experience serious cold condition and ear infection when they are regularly exposed to first-hand smokers' emitted smoke.

Smoking is also related to other bodily malignancies and disorders such as slow healing of wounds and infertility cases among women. Other ailments like peptic ulcer and pneumonia are also among the recently reported diseases caused by cigarette and tobacco smoking and exposure.

If you are a chain-smoker, a pregnant woman who smokes, or if you are always surrounded with individuals who are smokers, your baby will likely develop a weak heart and lungs with curtailed lung function and narrow air passages. Smoking can also lead to infants' deaths and premature delivery.

Aside from developing serious lung and heart diseases as well as acquiring short-term effects from the habit, you can also experience other grave consequences when you get addicted to smoking. These health-related consequences include dental and hygiene problems.

Smoking may sound and appear cool, but this habit is really unhygienic. As you continue smoking, your teeth will eventually get yellowish or brownish stains since sticky tar deposits stay on your teeth. Also with smoking, you can develop plaque that rigidly forms on your teeth. When this happens, you will need to have the plaque remove by means of dental cleaning.

Aside from developing stains on your teeth, you are also bound to experience gum problems as a result to smoking. Dental reports show that excessive smoking can cause mouth inflammation or swelling. Cigars and tobaccos can also restrain the flow of blood in your gum tissues, thus limiting the absorption of essential nutrients to the bones as well as in the periodontal support of your teeth.

Meanwhile, smoking can also increase the risk of loosing your teeth. Medical studies related to smoking state that the average rate for tooth damage among smokers now range to 1.5 to 2.9 percent every 10 years. This means that if you begin smoking at age 18, you are likely to lose five teeth when you turn 35.

In addition, smoking can also delay the healing process of any dental procedure or surgery, and it can eventually lead to a serious mouth condition called dry socket. Apart from lung and heart diseases, you can also acquire oral cancer of the esophagus, larynx, and pharynx from too much cigarette and tobacco consumption. Also, you will most certainly have less successful dental treatments and implants if you are a heavy smoker or if you are regularly exposed to second hand smoke emissions.

And as if those were not enough, cigar and tobacco smoking can also ruin your physical appearance. Aside from making your skin look dull, smoke from your cigars can also make your hair stink and appear lank or dull. Compared to smokers, non-smokers' hair are healthier and shinier. Besides acquiring dry and smelly hair, your hair can also lose its strength and hold. Smoking can cause hair breakage as nutrients and oxygen no longer flow normally inside your body. When your hair starts to break off, this means that your hair doesn't receive the essential nutrients it requires to stay strong and healthy.

Furthermore, do not wonder if you are one heavy smoker and people are starting to distance from you; you may have acquired, more or less, a dry and stinky smell on your body and even on your clothes. You see, the smoke lingers on your clothes until you wash them. As such, regularly washing and dry-cleaning your clothes will eventually weaken the fibres, thus causing your clothes to wear out quickly. Smoking can also give a distinct, stinky smell on your body as the cigarettes' components blend into your perspiration and release through your pores.

Age Gracefully and Beautifully

Aging is a natural process that everyone is subjected to. As a matter of fact, the aging process started kicking in the moment we were born. However, its unsightly effects are only felt when we start hitting middle age. Despite this, knowing what triggers the unwanted effects of aging and being aware of the right products can actually help you easily slow down or give the illusion that you have halted the aging process before its effects actually get on your nerves.

Many people are getting more and more afraid of facing the signs of aging. There is definitely no one in the world who would love seeing visible lines on their face or damaged skin complexions. Unfortunately, age sneaks up like a thief in the night. You might not like it nor appear to be combating it lightly but inevitably, you grow a year older after every three hundred sixty-five days.

As years add up to your age, they come with changes that take the youth in you. The function of the cells and organisms in your body shift, creating visible changes that sometimes come rapidly. The aging process may be different with each individual because there are many factors that contribute to it, but the bottom line is, everyone will surely get to it at one point of their lives or another.

Some of the bodily changes that you will experience include a significant difference in your weight and height. Weight increase is one of the major concerns that aging people wish to find a solution to. Reduced physical activity due to the weakness of the bones and muscles will definitely take its toll on your weight. Your height, on the other hand, naturally decreases as you get older. This is a result of a handful of factors like changes in posture and in the growth process of your spinal bones. Aside from these, your skin is also a fool proof sign that you are getting older. It becomes rough, loose, and dry. Women get more concerned about the skin changes than men because they tend to experience them faster. With the many hormonal changes women go through starting at the onset of puberty, pregnancy and menopause included, their skin rapidly becomes more vulnerable to age.

Your mental abilities may also become limiting as you grow older. Learning would be a lot more of hard work than, say, when you were on your twenties. Memory loss is also one of the more popular effects of aging. Older people are oftentimes forgetful because their brain process information slower than usual. Your mental fitness would also contribute to the many emotional combats that you will face. Anxiety and depression is very common among the older population because of the physical and mental limitations that they come across with.

Sexual performance is also greatly affected by aging. You may either lose the appetite or the ability to do it altogether.

Maintaining a constant supply of the magical Human Growth Hormones (HGH) is equivalent to enjoying a youthful life forever. HGH production peaks in adolescence and slowly decreases after you reach your twenties. The decrease is more significant as you grow older, which explains the overall difference that you experience if you are beyond your fifties. Low levels of HGH in your body system is the main reason behind the visibility of the signs of aging.

Among the many things that can be benefited from good HGH levels are healthy skin, a more functional immune system, decreased body fat, increased muscle mass, increased bone density, low cholesterol, and high energy levels among others. The older population may submit themselves to an HGH Replacement Therapy to continuously enjoy the limitless possibilities of being young and healthy.

There are of course, things that you can do to enjoy the youthfulness of being young without having to go through pricey medications and therapies.

One is to maintain a healthy lifestyle, meaning, continuously participating in physical activities. Regular exercise is a good solution that will slow the aging process down without having to shell out bucks. A good exercise program that you follow regularly is the best answer to combat weight gain, muscle loss, bone density decline, or even any form of heart and cholesterol-related diseases for that matter.

Eating healthy is another trigger that could make you look and feel young longer. The right choices of foods and taking in the right amounts of them would create a great impact on your body's vitality. Do away with less fat, less salt, less sugar, and more greens, so your body could enjoy the most benefits from eating rather than suffering from the ugly consequences of not eating right.

Avoiding harmful vices like smoking and alcohol drinking can do loads to you more than you can imagine. Smoking is detrimental to the whole body. It triggers premature death but will not let you go looking young as well. The major components of cigarettes have harmful effects that are especially reflected on your complexion. Dry and rough skin can be caused by the poor circulation and low oxygen levels in your blood, which are generated through puffing airs of smokes. Alcohol, on the other hand, depletes your body of the vitamins and minerals it needed to be functional. It also causes dehydration. Keeping a stress-free and happy life most of the time would surely make you feel better about a lot of things and in the process, would make you age gracefully. Stress affects your body and your well-being greatly so make sure that you manage all the aspects of your life well including your career and your personal and social relationships with people.

Admittedly, the fast-paced era held back people to keep a healthy, balanced, and stress-free life only realizing later on that they should have done so. But by that time, you may well be reaching old age and would find it difficult to repair the damages that your old habits created. The good news is, there is a tried and tested way to counteract the symptoms of aging in a no sweat fashion. GenF20 would supply your body's needed HGH to maintain its youthful glow. It tackles all the ugly nightmares that most people worry about getting older. Amid all its benefits, the GenF20 is also safe, so you will not have to worry about side effects.

Prevent Hair Loss the Right Way with Natural Nutrients

Are you losing your head because you're losing your hair? Although it's quite normal to lose a few strands daily, excessive hair fall can lead to bald patches and ultimately, baldness. This is especially true for men who, unlike women, are prone to baldness due to their genetic makeup. Testosterone, the same hormone which makes you feel manly and all, is the culprit. Once this hormone comes in contact with your hair follicles, it's converted into DHT, or dihydrotestosterone, which shrinks your strands and thickens your scalp. This reduces blood flow to your scalp and makes your strands unhealthy, thus, promoting hair loss.

Fortunately, not all men are doomed to this fate. According to Profollica.com, a well-known scientists have found out that men with reduced levels of DHT in their scalps experience minimal hair fall. This does not mean that they are less manly since they still produce normal testosterone levels. What this means is that they have DHT blockers in their scalps to prevent shrinking strands and thickening scalps. So before contemplating a sex change, picking out your future toupee, or considering follicle transplants, consider hair care systems with natural nutrients and vitamins which act as DHT blockers to prevent hair loss.

Nutrients and Food Sources that Prevent Hair Loss

1. Zinc

One of the most popular hair loss prevention minerals is zinc. Studies show that severe deficiency of this mineral leads to baldness and other scalp problems. People with reduced or less-than-normal amounts of zinc in their bodies usually experience excessive hair fall and premature graying. This mineral is also valuable for minimizing the effects of stress which promotes excess DHT production.

As it's, eating zinc-rich foods or taking a mineral supplement can effectively minimize hair fall. Some food sources rich in zinc include the following: wheat germ, egg yolks, spinach, whole grains, mushrooms, and red meat. However, care should be taken in eating these or taking supplements. A daily does of zinc over 12 mg can cause decreased iron absorption and anemia.

2. Biotin

A component of the B complex group, Biotin is often referred to a Vitamin H or hair vitamin. This is because it promotes hair growth while preventing loss. It metabolizes fatty acids which fuel the growth and repair of hair follicles, thus reducing breakages caused by DHT. It also staggers the premature aging of the hair strands by keeping them moisturized and nourished. Excellent sources of Biotin are cooked eggs, milk, liver, kidney, and yeast. Although no exact amount is pegged as the ideal dose of Biotin, its sources are high in fat which can cause other health problems.

3. Protein

Hair is almost 90% protein so it makes sense that this nutrient is among the top hair regrowth agent. Shampoos and conditioners list protein, or at least its derivatives, as their main ingredients. But protein does not boost hair regrowth, it only strengthens the strands to help them endure combing, styling, and heat exposure -- added stress which aggravates DHT production. With its ability to increase strand thickness by as much as 45%, protein, in regulated amounts, is the most common solution to thinning hair. Common sources for this nutrient include red meat, legumes, milk, and eggs.

As good as protein is for your hair, it needs to be taken carefully because excesses of this nutrient promotes fat intake and dehydration. Increased fatty acids can boost oil production in the scalp which can block and weaken hair follicles. Likewise, dehydration will cause hair to become brittle and dry.

4. Vitamin A

Retinol, carotenoid, or carotene -- this terms only mean one thing: Vitamin A. Unknown to many, this popular vision enhancer is also our hair's best friend. It's an antioxidant that promotes healthy sebum production in your scalp. It allows your hair to produce just the right amount of oil to moisturize the strands but not too much that it blocks the pores in your scalp. Normal sebum production is equal to less chances of DHT damage. Sources for this vitamin includes yellow or orange vegetables, leafy greens, milk, fish oils, and meat. However, doses exceeding the daily requirement of 2,500 IU can be toxic and cause health problems.

5. Vitamin E

Since blood circulation aids in hair growth, an antioxidant which promotes this is necessary. Vitamin E works well for this even though it's more popular as an anti-aging nutrient. Aside from promoting healthy blood flow, Vitamin E also reduces the appearance of graying hair , another effect of DHT, hence, making you look young and your hair, thick. Cold-processed vegetable oils, soybeans, leafy greens, dried beans, and nuts are excellent sources of this nutrient. As good as it's, you should be careful in consuming E-rich foods since it can increase high blood pressure. The recommended dose for this one is 400 IU.

Growing Your Hair Safely Using Natural Hair Supplements

Although it's good to try to prevent or treat hair loss by eating naturally healthy food, there is always the danger of consuming too much vitamin and mineral sources. Instead of alleviating your less-than-hairy problem, you might end up with more dangerous side effects. This is the problem spotted by makers of hair care systems. Instead of risking your hair further, you can opt to use specially-formulated hair supplements.

One of the leading hair treatment systems today is Profollica which is made from all-natural DHT blockers. Its website, Profollica.com lists natural ingredients like Kigelia Africana, Salvia Sclarea, and Panax Ginseng Root extracts -- proven effective hair loss retardants -- as its main ingredients. These herbs are effective in maintaining healthy hair and preventing its loss. It provides the needed nutrients like vitamins and minerals and other organic ingredients which further improve hair regrowth. By using a natural hair loss treatment system like Profollica, you get the benefit of healthy strands minus the side effects.

Rheumatoid Arthritis

Rheumatoid Arthritis, or RA, is an autoimmune disorder, causing your immune system to attack the joints, causing a painful inflammation. Unlike other forms of arthritis like osteoarthritis, RA also attacks the organs like the heart, eyes and lungs. Of the 100+ forms of arthritis, this is one of the most debilitating varieties.

Rheumatoid Arthritis affects 1 out of 100 North Americans, or 2.1 million people, and women are three times more likely to get the disease than men. The cause of RA is unknown, but a popular theory points to the disease being infectious as those who have close friends or family with the disorder are more likely to develop it themselves. Susceptibility to the disease may also be an inherited trait as well.

Early detection is vital in treating RA because the most damage is done within the first two years, with 75% of the damage occurring within the first five years. While there is no cure or preventative measure for rheumatoid arthritis, there are a number of treatments to alleviate symptoms. Each type of drug includes its own side effects- make sure that you are informed about the medication you are taking, and report any side effects to your doctor.

Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs, or NSAIDs, reduce the pain and swelling of the joints. Many can be had without a prescription, like acetylsalicylic acid and ibuprofen. In more severe cases your doctor can prescribe a stronger NSAID. Omega-3, found in fatty fish, also works to shorten the period of stiffness in the morning, one of the major symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis. Add salmon or albacore tuna to your diet, or try an Omega-3 supplement like Omega Daily.

Disease-Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drugs, known as DMARDs, are slow-acting and may take weeks to take effect. While NSAIDs are effective in relieving pain short term, DMARDs are a long term treatment meant to reduce damage to the joint and bone. Methotrexate is the most widely used DMARD.

Biologic Response Modifiers are a third medication for RA sufferers, although it is extremely cost prohibitive, costing upwards of $25,000 a year and is rarely covered by insurance. Biologic Response Modifiers, called Biologics for short, work by decreasing inflammation. They are usually paired with other medication.

There are a number of things you can do yourself to make living with the disease easier. While it is tempting to put as little exertion on your sore joints as possible, keeping active is essential to enjoying life with rheumatoid arthritis. This is for a number of reasons. The first is that regular exercise strengthens the muscles around the joint and increases flexibility. Try low-impact activities, like swimming. Try not to partake in any activities that involve too much exertion, which causes more harm than good. Use heat and cold to your advantage, easing pain. Heat should be applied only when the joint is not inflamed, and preferably in the form of a bath or hot shower. Use cold packs on the inflamed joint directly or after strenuous use of the joint.

Beer and its Cardio Vascular Benefits!!!!!

A medical study which examined the beer drinking habits of a group of people who had heart attacks found out that the lowest risks of heart attack was found in men who drank about 5-11 litres of beer a week. Their risks was a third of that seen in the men who never drank beer. But if they drank more, the protection was lost and problems appeared.

Dark beer seems to be especially more protective. Beer's cardio vascular benefits are due to polyphenols, antioxidants that are also found in fruits, tea and wine.

Researchers have found that drinking 1 beer a day alters the structure of fibrinogen, protein in the blood responsible for clotting, thus reducing risks of heart attacks and strokes.
